Ferhat and Şirin is a love story that known in the language of the people from Horasan to Amasya. Mehmene Bânû, the Sultan of Amasya or Khorasan, had his fifteen-year-old brother Şîrin built a beautiful mansion. He decorates the mansion with the muralist Behzat and his son Ferhad. One day, when Şîrin sees Ferhad who comes to visit the mansion, she falls in love with him. Likewise, Ferhad falls in love with Şirin. However, Mehmene Banu opposes their marriage. Ferhat is exiled from the city. He consoles himself by drawing a picture of Şirin in the cave he lives in. In order to prevent the persecution applied to Ferhat, Amasya Ruler Hormuz Shah declares war on Mehmene Banu and defeats him. He takes Ferhad and Şîrin to the headquarters. Meanwhile, Husrev who is son of Hormuz Shah sees Şirin, and falls in love with him. Will Hormuz Shah be fair?
